• Atty. John Deaton praises XRP as a solution for weekend payments, citing its adoption by private jet service TapJets.
  • Ferrari adds XRP to its payment options in response to customer demand.
  • XRP’s mainstream acceptance is on the rise, with BitPay and other providers enabling its use at multiple merchants.

Attorney John Deaton, a proponent of XRP and the founder of Crypto-Law, has hailed XRP as the ultimate choice for seamless payments. His endorsement is backed by real-world examples, including the innovative use of XRP by TapJets Inc., a private jet service.

Deaton spotlights XRP’s unique ability to address the weekend payment conundrum faced by many private jet travelers. Typically, customers must front the full cost of their flights, including pilot fees, flight attendants, and fuel, but this can be problematic on weekends when traditional banks are closed.

XRP provides the solution, as attested to in an amicus brief filed by TapJets in the Ripple case. Users can pay upfront with XRP, and within three to five seconds, their jet is ready for takeoff.

Meanwhile, luxury automaker Ferrari has also recognized the growing demand for XRP as a payment option. Enrico Galliera, Ferrari’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, revealed that they now accept XRP alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum. To process these transactions, Ferrari has partnered with BitPay, a leading crypto payment provider, initially offering this service in the United States and planning to expand to Europe.

This growing acceptance of XRP payments indicates that the digital asset is gaining traction among mainstream consumers. XRP’s ability to settle transactions rapidly and at a lower cost than many other digital currencies is making it increasingly attractive for various merchants. BitPay, for instance, now enables XRP users to make purchases at 28 different retailers, including AMC Theatres, further cementing XRP’s status as a game-changer in the world of payments.
