Axie Infinity Confirms Adventure, Daily Quest Rewards Removal

Adventure and daily quest rewards will be removed altogether once Season 20 kicks off.
A total of 117,676 AXS will be distributed to the top 300,000 players.
Players under 800 MMR will be able to earn 1 SLP for every win.

NFT game Axie Infinity announced that it will be removing adventure and daily quest rewards once Season 20 has begun. According to a document, the removal of Smooth Love Potion (SLP) rewards will occur soon.

Season 20 is close and when it’s released, a variety of important economic balancing changes will be implemented.

The new changes mean that SLP will only become obtainable by winning in the Arena or PVP mode. SLP issuance in the Arena will also decrease, although this may be compensated by awarding AXS to the top 300,000 players.

On the bright side, players who have less than 800 MMR will be able to earn 1 SLP for every win. Also, the game will now be awarding a total of 117,676 AXS to the community.

While the game admitted that the upcoming changes will be “painful medicine”, the developers believe that it was only inevitable. In fact, Co-Founder Jeff Zirlin said that it should have even been made sooner.
