Osmosis, a decentralized exchange built for cosmos, announced the first ever Osmocon 2022 to be held in Austin, Texas on June 9, 2022. The Osmocon was said to be replacing Terra dApp Expo that was supposed to take place at the same venue and date.
The venue and date for Osmocon 2022 was announced two weeks after Terra dApp Expo team announced the cancellation of its event on June 9-10 in Austin, Texas amid Terra’s UST and LUNA crash.
There have been serious threats made from understandably upset individuals who’ve lost everything in this crash,” Terra expo organizers said on Twitter.
The Osmosis conference will feature events that include learning about Osmosis grants, new dev tools being developed in the lab, analytics, new DeFi apps, and UX Design in Osmosis. Participants will find out how Osmosis bridge is connecting Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana, and other blockchains and be the first to know about Wosmo NFTs, Soul-Bound Tokens, DeFi NFTs.
Furthermore, participants will experience workshops with the teams that built products on top of Osmosis CosmWasm and be the first to find out what’s coming next to the Osmosis universe.
Speakers of the event include top executives, co-founders, builders, and more which works around the Cosmos ecosystem. The tickets and schedule for the event will soon be available at the Osmocon website.
