Japanese Gaming Giant To Launch Web3 Game With Ava Labs
  • Ava Labs and BLDR have a new collaboration.
  • GREE has produced a number of games based on popular Japanese anime IPs.
  • Avalanche supports more than 500 dApps and protects billions of dollars worth of wealth.

Ava Labs has teamed up with BLDR with a plan to launch the first Web3 game in 2023.  Notably, the former is the software provider supporting the ecosystem of the Avalanche blockchain. On the other hand, the latter is a division of the Japanese gaming and media business GREE.

The parent firm of BLRD, GREE, has created several games based on well-known Japanese anime IPs, including Naruto and Final Fantasy.

Ava Labs will provide technical, marketing, commercial, and ecosystem assistance to BLRD as it grows in the blockchain gaming industry. BLRD also intends to collaborate with Ava Labs and the Avalanche Foundation on further initiatives, such as collaborative investments with the Blizzard Avalanche Fund.

In turn, GREE has been creating highly engaging Web2 games. These have included the creation of a number of well-known titles, such as Naruto, and several mobile versions of Final Fantasy.

Additionally, BLRD intends to work with Ava Labs and the Avalanche Foundation on additional initiatives. They include collaborative investments with Blizzard and the Avalanche Fund.

GREE has a track record of creating games that gamers enjoy with timeless IP for over ten years. We’re happy that they’ll be expanding on the gaming network Avalanche and collaborating to brighten its future. Ava Labs has all the resources needed to assist GREE in becoming a Web3 gaming titan.

In September 2020, Avalanche became functional, ushering in a new age for blockchains with almost instantaneous transaction finality. Today, Avalanche supports more than 500 dApps. This also protects billions of dollars worth of wealth and does so with little harm to the environment.
